New Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram Clearance Vehicles in La Nouvelle-Beauce and Bellechasse

Our clearance section gathers the new vehicles carrying our best conditions of the moment. Genuine new vehicles, never registered, covered by the full manufacturer warranty, simply units we have decided to move quickly. At Daniel Paré Dodge Chrysler, in Sainte-Marie in La Nouvelle-Beauce and in Saint-Malachie in Bellechasse, this is the section buyers from the Beauce, Bellechasse, Lévis and the Quebec City area check first. And if you compare something other than the posted price, you will see why so many people make the drive out here.

What you will find in our clearance section

Clearance covers all four brands we represent, so the selection changes constantly. On the Jeep side, you will see Wrangler, Grand Cherokee and Grand Cherokee L, Cherokee, Compass, Gladiator, Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer come through, and more recently the Recon. On the Ram side, it is Ram 1500, Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 trucks, chassis cab models and ProMaster vans. From Dodge, the Charger and the Durango. From Chrysler, the Pacifica and the Grand Caravan, the latter a Canadian exclusive assembled in Windsor, Ontario.

In other words, whether you want a compact SUV for daily driving, a large three row SUV for the family, a minivan, a work truck, a commercial van to upfit or something with more attitude, chances are a matching unit passes through clearance sooner or later. Inventory moves fast, that is the nature of the section, so check back often or tell us what you are after.

New, demonstrator or pre-owned, three ways to get more for your money

This is where we differ from a dealership that sells only one type of vehicle. When you visit, you have three inventories in front of you at once, and our job is to steer you toward the one that fits your situation, not the one that suits us.

A new clearance vehicle gives you the full manufacturer warranty, the latest technology, and your pick of colour and equipment from what is left in stock. It suits the buyer who wants maximum peace of mind and keeps a vehicle a long time.

A demonstrator is a new vehicle we have used for test drives or for our own team. It shows a few thousand kilometres, it is covered by the manufacturer warranty, and it sells on more advantageous conditions than a new vehicle never driven. For many buyers, it is the best compromise between the freshness of new and the cost of a recent pre-owned vehicle.

The pre-owned side, finally, is what we are best known for in the region. Our used inventory covers the full Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram range, including models no longer sold new such as the Dodge Challenger, the Dodge Grand Caravan, the Ram 1500 Classic, the Ram ProMaster City and the Chrysler 300. For a buyer who wants the most value per dollar, or who is hunting a configuration that no longer exists in the new catalogue, that is often where the answer sits.

An advisor with all three inventories at hand asks the right questions and puts the three options side by side. That is hard to do with only one to offer.

The VIP program, what it is actually worth after the sale

The purchase price is only part of what a vehicle really costs. What comes afterward matters just as much, and that is what our VIP program is built to reduce.

The program has two levels, assigned according to your purchase history with us. VIP Gold goes to customers who have bought a vehicle from us. It entitles you to a 3 percent discount in the service department, free storage of your tires the first time, a complimentary local shuttle service, a courtesy vehicle and a valet service.

VIP Platinum is for customers who have trusted us with more than one vehicle. The service discount rises to 6 percent, the same services are included, and an annual free wash plus an annual free Aquapel windshield treatment are added.

Over the life of a vehicle, a permanent discount on every service visit, tire storage and access to a courtesy vehicle add up to real savings, year after year. Certain conditions apply to each benefit, and our advisors explain them clearly at the time of the transaction rather than letting you discover them later.

A hassle free experience, and our customers say so themselves

We could write here that we offer excellent service, like everybody else does. We would rather let you check for yourself. Both locations hold 4.7 out of 5 on Google, from 477 Google reviews for the Sainte-Marie dealership and 258 Google reviews for Saint-Malachie. These are not testimonials we picked and posted on our own site, they are public reviews, left by real customers, that we do not control.

Read the Google reviews for our Sainte-Marie dealership

Read the Google reviews for our Saint-Malachie dealership

What comes up most often in those comments is the absence of pressure and the clarity of the explanations. That is deliberate. A transaction where the customer understands exactly what he is buying and paying does not come back to haunt us six months later, and it brings that same customer back for his next vehicle.

Tailored advice instead of a canned sales pitch

A Ram 2500 and a Ram 3500 look alike in a parking lot, but they do not answer the same need, and the wrong choice is expensive. A Jeep Grand Cherokee and a Grand Cherokee L have the same towing capacity, contrary to what many buyers assume. A plug-in hybrid Chrysler Pacifica has never had the second row stow away seats. A well equipped Jeep Gladiator Sport S tows more than a Rubicon, which costs more.

These distinctions are not small print, they decide whether a customer is still satisfied three years from now. Our advisors know them and explain them before the sale, not after. If what you actually need is a less expensive vehicle than the one you came in to see, we will tell you so.

Two locations, one shared inventory, minutes from Lévis and Quebec City

Our dealership at 615 route Cameron in Sainte-Marie sits in La Nouvelle-Beauce, in the heart of the Beauce. The one at 692 route Henderson in Saint-Malachie is in Bellechasse. Both are in Chaudière-Appalaches, a few minutes from Lévis and roughly thirty minutes from downtown Quebec City by Highway 73.

Our inventories are shared between the two locations. If the vehicle you want is at the other store, we bring it over. You do not have to choose, or make two trips.

We regularly welcome buyers from Saint-Georges, Sainte-Marie, Saint-Joseph-de-Beauce, Saint-Malachie, Sainte-Claire, Lévis, Quebec City, Thetford Mines and across the South Shore and the Capitale-Nationale. Many tell us they drove past two or three other dealerships to get here. That comment makes our day, and it keeps us on our toes.

The real math, the one that looks at your return

Comparing two vehicles on the posted price alone means reading one line of a table that has several. The full calculation includes your current vehicle's trade-in value, the amount subject to sales tax once the trade is applied, service visits over the whole time you own the vehicle, tire storage twice a year, the expenses you avoid when a courtesy vehicle is provided, and resale value a few years down the road.

Add all of that up and a vehicle bought from a dealership that stands beside you after the sale often costs less than one bought for a few hundred dollars less somewhere else. That is the addition we invite you to do, and we will do it with you, one number at a time.

Seven reasons to shop our clearance section

    1. Clearance vehicles are new vehicles that have never been registered, fully covered by the manufacturer warranty. You give up nothing on protection.
    2. In a single visit you get access to new vehicles, demonstrators and our pre-owned inventory, so you compare three avenues instead of one.
    3. The VIP program lowers your costs after the sale, with a permanent service discount, tire storage and access to a courtesy vehicle.
    4. Both dealerships hold a rating of 4.7 out of 5 on Google, from 477 and 258 public reviews that we do not control.
    5. Our advisors know the technical distinctions that genuinely matter between two models and explain them before the sale.
    6. Our inventories are shared between Sainte-Marie and Saint-Malachie, so the vehicle you want is brought to you rather than the other way around.
    7. We are a few minutes from Lévis and roughly thirty minutes from Quebec City, close enough for routine maintenance and far enough from the big centres to have kept a way of doing business on a human scale.

Frequently asked questions about our clearance section

    Are clearance vehicles really new?

Yes. They are new vehicles, never registered, covered by the full manufacturer warranty. Clearance refers to the conditions we are offering, not to the condition of the vehicle.

Why do some vehicles end up in clearance?

The reasons vary: a new model year arriving, a unit in stock for a while, a colour or configuration in lower demand, or simply our own decision to make room for incoming shipments. It has nothing to do with the quality of the vehicle.

Which brands and models can I find in clearance?

All four brands we represent, namely Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram. Depending on the moment, you will see Jeep Wrangler, Grand Cherokee, Grand Cherokee L, Cherokee, Compass, Gladiator, Wagoneer, Grand Wagoneer and Recon models, Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500 trucks, chassis cab models and ProMaster vans, the Dodge Charger and the Dodge Durango, as well as the Chrysler Pacifica and the Chrysler Grand Caravan.

What is the difference between a new clearance vehicle and a demonstrator?

A clearance vehicle has never been driven other than to be moved around. A demonstrator has served for test drives or for our team, shows a few thousand kilometres, and stays covered by the manufacturer warranty while selling on more advantageous conditions.

Is the manufacturer warranty reduced on a clearance vehicle?

No. A new vehicle that has never been registered keeps its basic warranty and its powertrain warranty in full. Our advisors give you the exact coverage details for the model you are interested in.

What exactly is the VIP program?

It is our reward program for customers, assigned according to your purchase history. VIP Gold gives you a 3 percent discount in the service department, free storage of your tires the first time, a complimentary local shuttle, a courtesy vehicle and a valet service. VIP Platinum raises the service discount to 6 percent and adds an annual wash and an annual Aquapel windshield treatment. Certain conditions apply, and we explain them at the time of the transaction.

How do I become a VIP program member?

By buying a vehicle from us. The Gold level is granted from your first purchase, and the Platinum level is for customers who have trusted us with more than one vehicle.

Will you take my current vehicle in trade?

Yes, whatever the brand and wherever it was purchased. The appraisal is done on site, and a trade-in can reduce the amount subject to sales tax in Quebec, which often changes the math more than buyers expect.

Can I do business with you if I live in Lévis or Quebec City?

Absolutely, and a good share of our customers come from there. We are a few minutes from Lévis and roughly thirty minutes from downtown Quebec City by Highway 73. Plenty of customers from the South Shore and the Capitale-Nationale make the trip to buy and to have their vehicle serviced.

The vehicle I want is at your other location, is that a problem?

Not at all. Our inventories are shared between Sainte-Marie and Saint-Malachie and we move the vehicle for you. You do not have to make two trips.

Do you offer financing and leasing on site?

Yes. Our team handles applications on site, compares the programs offered by the manufacturer and our partner institutions, and lays out purchase and lease options so you choose with full information in hand.

Can I have my vehicle serviced with you after the purchase?

Yes. Both shops, in Sainte-Marie and Saint-Malachie, are equipped for maintenance and warranty repairs on Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram vehicles, with factory trained technicians and genuine Mopar parts. That is also where the VIP program really comes into its own.

Does the clearance inventory change often?

Yes, and quickly. That is the nature of the section. If you are looking for a particular model or configuration, tell us and we will let you know as soon as a matching unit shows up.

Do I need an appointment for a test drive?

It is not required, but it is clearly preferable. A call or a message ahead of time lets us prepare the exact vehicle you want and saves you a trip for nothing.

Used Dodge Durango for Sale Near Lévis and Quebec City

While the three-row SUV segment moved to turbo four-cylinder engines and front-drive platforms, the Dodge Durango stayed the course: a rear-drive-based architecture, a HEMI V8 on the order sheet, and towing numbers measured in thousands of pounds. That is exactly why it stays in demand on the used market at Daniel Paré Dodge Chrysler, from Beauce and Bellechasse to Lévis and Quebec City, among families who pull a travel trailer or a boat. The catch is knowing how to read the model years.

One generation only, from 2016 to 2026

The Durango will not force you to untangle two overlapping generations. The current generation has been in production since the 2011 model year and runs uninterrupted through 2026.

The single most useful landmark in that long run is the 2021 model year and its mid-cycle restyling: new front end, slimmer LED headlamps, new daytime running lamp signature, new grille and new rear spoiler. The cabin changed even more, with a driver-oriented instrument panel and the move to Uconnect 5 with a 10.1-inch touchscreen. The dividing line for a used buyer therefore falls between the 2016 to 2020 model years and those from 2021 to 2026. Stellantis announced in the fall of 2025 that a next-generation Durango is planned for 2029.

    Engines offered in Canada

The 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 is the base engine across the whole span. Canadian fact sheets rate it at 293 horsepower, and up to 295 depending on exhaust configuration, with 260 lb-ft of torque.

The 5.7-litre HEMI V8 makes 360 horsepower and 390 lb-ft, with cylinder deactivation, and it too runs through the entire period. Fitted with the trailer tow package, it brings a transfer case with low range, handy for pulling a boat up a steep ramp.

The 6.4-litre HEMI V8, the famous 392, makes 475 horsepower and 470 lb-ft. It joins the Canadian lineup for 2018 as the Durango SRT, becomes the SRT 392 in 2021, and stays available through 2024. It is absent from the 2025 Canadian lineup, then returns for 2026 as the Durango R/T 392.

The supercharged 6.2-litre V8 of the SRT Hellcat makes 710 horsepower and 645 lb-ft. Its history is the trickiest one: offered for 2021 and presented at the time as a one-year-only model, absent for 2022, then back from 2023 through 2026. A 2022 Durango SRT Hellcat sold new in Canada simply does not exist.

Standard all-wheel drive, a Canadian particularity

Here is the point that simplifies the search in Quebec. Across the Canadian lineup, all-wheel drive is standard on every Durango model, and Stellantis Canada states it in plain language. That is a real difference from the American market, where several trims are also sold in rear-wheel drive. A rear-drive-only example would be a vehicle imported from the United States.

    What the Durango can tow

Properly equipped, the 3.6-litre V6 Durango is rated at 2,812 kilograms, or 6,200 pounds. With the 5.7-litre V8, capacity rises to 3,265 kilograms, or 7,200 pounds. With the 6.4-litre, the supercharged 6.2-litre, or the 5.7-litre fitted with the Tow N Go package, it reaches 3,946 kilograms, or 8,700 pounds.

Tow N Go arrives for 2021 on the R/T. It is far more than a hitch: it brings the 8,700-pound rating, Track, Sport, Snow and Tow drive modes, a performance exhaust, an electronic limited-slip rear differential and Brembo brakes. For 2024 it becomes available on the Citadel as well, and it returns for 2026 on the V8 model.

One distinction that prevents expensive mistakes: towing capacity and payload are not the same thing. Towing capacity is what the vehicle can pull behind it. Payload is what the vehicle can carry itself, meaning passengers, luggage, installed accessories and the tongue weight the trailer places on the ball. A family of seven with luggage already uses a good share of it. Both limits have to be respected at once, and the payload figure for each unit appears on the compliance label on the driver door pillar.

Trims, and the R/T naming trap

The Canadian lineup has moved around a lot. In the mid-2010s you find SXT, Limited, Citadel and R/T, with GT replacing Limited from 2017, then the 6.4-litre SRT joining for 2018. For 2021 there are six models: SXT, GT, Citadel, R/T, SRT 392 and SRT Hellcat. For 2022, five, with the Hellcat gone. For 2023 and 2024, six again. For 2025, only three: GT, R/T and SRT Hellcat.

Then comes the naming change every shopper needs to know. For the 2026 model year, Dodge moved the R/T badge. The 5.7-litre V8 model that had carried it for years became the GT HEMI V8, and the R/T name shifted to the 6.4-litre V8 model, the R/T 392. So a Durango R/T from 2025 or earlier is a 360-horsepower 5.7-litre, while an R/T 392 is a 475-horsepower 6.4-litre. Two very different vehicles, one badge. Check the displacement on the vehicle sheet rather than the badge on the tailgate.

Seven seats, seating layouts and cargo

The Durango has three rows and seats up to seven. The second row comes as a 60/40 split bench or as captain's chairs with a centre pass-through, which helps when two child seats are installed there and someone still needs to reach the third row, itself split 50/50. Dodge advertises more than 50 seating combinations, and some trims come in five, six or seven-passenger layouts. With the rear rows folded, the floor is flat and maximum cargo volume reaches 2,409 litres, or 85.1 cubic feet.

    How the technology evolved

On the 2016 and 2017 model years, the Durango came with a 5-inch Uconnect screen as standard or an 8.4-inch unit as an option, with no Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. Both arrived for 2018 and were standard on every Durango model that year, while the base screen grew to 7 inches. The 2019 model year added the integrated trailer brake.

The 2021 model year is the big leap, with Uconnect 5, the 10.1-inch touchscreen angled toward the driver and wireless device charging. For 2022, Blind-spot Monitoring with Rear Cross Path detection became standard across the lineup. For 2023, Canadian GT and R/T models gained standard navigation, Forward Collision Warning and adaptive cruise control. For 2025, the 10.1-inch screen became standard on every model. Across the period, the Durango also offers more than 60 safety features and standard trailer sway control.

Seven things to know before buying a used Durango

    1. The Durango has not changed generation since 2011, but the 2021 restyling creates a genuine dividing line.
    2. The R/T name means the 5.7-litre V8 through 2025, then the 6.4-litre V8 from 2026 as the R/T 392.
    3. All-wheel drive is standard across the Canadian lineup, unlike the American market.
    4. The 8,700-pound rating requires the 6.4-litre, the supercharged 6.2-litre or the 5.7-litre with Tow N Go.
    5. If Apple CarPlay and Android Auto matter to you, aim for a 2018 model year or newer.
    6. The SRT Hellcat was offered in Canada for 2021, skipped for 2022, then back from 2023 to 2026.
    7. The 6.4-litre V8 was sold from 2018 to 2024 as the SRT, then for 2026 as the R/T 392.

Frequently asked questions about the used Dodge Durango

Has the Dodge Durango changed generation recently?

No. The current generation has been in production since the 2011 model year and continues through 2026. The most significant update in that span is the 2021 restyling.

Which engines can I find on a used Durango in Canada?

    The 3.6-litre V6, the 5.7-litre V8 with 360 horsepower and 390 lb-ft, the 6.4-litre V8 with 475 horsepower and 470 lb-ft, and the supercharged 6.2-litre V8 with 710 horsepower and 645 lb-ft, all with an eight-speed automatic.

Can a used Durango be two-wheel drive?

Not if it was sold new in Canada. Stellantis Canada confirms all-wheel drive is standard across the Canadian lineup. A rear-drive example would be an imported vehicle.

Why do some Durango R/T models have a 5.7-litre and others a 6.4-litre?

Because Dodge moved the name for the 2026 model year. Through 2025, the R/T is the 5.7-litre V8. From 2026, that engine becomes the GT HEMI V8 and the R/T name moves to the 6.4-litre V8, the R/T 392.

How much can a used Durango tow?

Up to 6,200 pounds with the V6, 7,200 pounds with the 5.7-litre, and 8,700 pounds with the 6.4-litre, the supercharged 6.2-litre or the 5.7-litre with Tow N Go, when properly equipped.

What is the Tow N Go package?

A package introduced for 2021 on the Durango R/T. It raises towing to 8,700 pounds and adds Track, Sport, Snow and Tow drive modes, an electronic limited-slip rear differential and Brembo brakes.

What is the difference between towing capacity and payload?

Towing capacity is the weight pulled behind the vehicle. Payload is the weight carried by the vehicle itself: passengers, luggage, accessories and trailer tongue weight. Both limits apply at the same time, and the payload figure appears on the driver door pillar label.

How many passengers does the Durango carry?

Up to seven, across three rows, with five, six or seven-passenger layouts depending on equipment.

From which year does the Durango have Apple CarPlay?

From the 2018 model year, when Apple CarPlay and Android Auto became standard on every model. The 2016 and 2017 model years do not have them from the factory.

Is the Durango a good fit for a Quebec winter?

Standard all-wheel drive and the Snow drive mode offered on certain trims work in its favour on the snowy roads of Chaudière-Appalaches. In Quebec, four compliant winter tires are mandatory from December 1 to March 15.

Can I have my Durango serviced with you after the purchase?

Yes. Both of our shops, in Sainte-Marie and Saint-Malachie, are equipped to service and repair Dodge vehicles, with factory-trained technicians and Mopar parts.

Do you take my current vehicle on trade?

Yes, any brand. The appraisal is done on site, and a trade-in can reduce the amount subject to Quebec sales tax.
