Jeep Compass Trailhawk 4x4 | 2.0L Turbo | Pano roof | 10.1in Nav | 9-spk Alpine | Hands-free liftgate | Low KM |2024 Jeep Compass Trailhawk 4x4, 22,188 km, panoramic sunroof and factory warranties still active
Of all the Compass models, the Trailhawk is the one that wears the Trail Rated badge. Put into service on July 30, 2024, this one shows 22,188 km and still benefits from its factory warranties, including powertrain coverage until July 30, 2029 or 100,000 km. Finished in Diamond Black Crystal Pearl-Coat, it was ordered with the dual-pane panoramic sunroof, nine-speaker Alpine audio, navigation and the 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. It is in stock at Daniel Paré, in the Beauce region.
Trail Rated, with the hardware to back it up
What sets the Trailhawk apart from other Compass models is mostly under the body. Its Jeep Active Drive Low 4x4 system adds a low range and a 20:1 crawl ratio, class-leading according to Jeep, for precise control at very low speed over rocks or along a rutted trail. The Selec-Terrain system offers Auto, Snow and Sand/Mud modes, plus a Rock mode reserved for the Trailhawk.
The off-road equipment is complete:
· Off-road suspension with a 1 in. (25 mm) lift
· 8.6 in. (219 mm) of ground clearance
· Approach, breakover and departure angles of 30.4°, 23.6° and 34.0°
· Water fording up to 19 in. (48 cm)
· Skid plates for the fuel tank, transfer case, transmission and front suspension
· Three red tow hooks, two up front and one at the rear
· Hill descent control and hill start assist
It left the factory on 215/65R17 all-terrain tires mounted on 17-inch diamond-cut aluminium wheels with a Satin Black finish, with a full-size spare. A sugar bush road during the spring thaw or a trail to the cottage, this is the kind of equipment that makes the difference between pressing on and turning back.
2.0L turbo engine and eight-speed automatic
Under the hood, a 2.0L direct-injection turbocharged four-cylinder produces 200 horsepower (149 kW) at 5,000 rpm and 221 lb-ft (300 N·m) of torque from 1,750 to 4,250 rpm. Torque that arrives this early means confident response on Beauce hills and when passing on Route 73. It is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, features engine stop-start and runs on regular fuel.
The 4x4 system works automatically. According to Jeep, it is the only one in its class able to fully disconnect the rear axle and power transfer unit when four-wheel drive is not needed. The official EnerGuide ratings on its original window sticker are 9.9 L/100 km city, 7.4 L/100 km highway and 8.8 L/100 km combined.
A cabin built for our winters
For January mornings, the essentials are covered:
· Remote start
· Heated front seats and heated steering wheel
· Windshield wiper de-icer and rain-sensing wipers
· Dual-zone automatic temperature control
· Proximity keyless entry and push-button start
The front bucket seats are trimmed in leather with cloth inserts, Ruby Red accent stitching and an embroidered Trailhawk logo. They adjust manually in six directions. The leather and cloth combination makes sense in Quebec: less cold to the touch in winter, less sticky in summer.
In the rear, the 60/40 split bench offers 38.3 in. (973 mm) of legroom, an armrest with cup holders, air vents and a 12-volt outlet. The dual-pane panoramic sunroof fills the cabin with daylight. You also get the Jeep Clean Air system and an N95 + BIO cabin air filter.
A cargo area roomier than you would expect
Cargo space measures 27.2 cu. ft. (770 L) behind the rear seat and 59.8 cu. ft. (1,693 L) with the seat folded, with a height-adjustable load floor, a hidden storage tray and four tie-down loops. Arms full? The hands-free power liftgate opens with a simple kick motion. And at 173.4 in. (4,404 mm) long, it is easy to park in town.
Technology and connectivity
The media equipment is complete, largely thanks to a factory-ordered option:
· Uconnect 5 NAV with GPS navigation
· Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
· 10.25-inch full-colour digital instrument cluster
· Alpine premium audio with nine speakers, including a subwoofer
· HD Radio and SiriusXM satellite radio with 360L (subscription required)
· Alexa Built-in and connected traffic and travel services (subscription required)
· Hands-free phone and voice command
· USB Type-A and Type-C ports, front and rear
Safety and driver assistance
· Forward collision warning with active braking
· Pedestrian and cyclist automatic emergency braking
· Active Lane Management
· Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross path detection
· ParkSense rear park assist and ParkView rear back-up camera
· Drowsy driver detection and rear seat reminder alert
· Automatic LED headlamps with automatic high-beam control
· Electronic stability control, all-speed traction control, electronic roll mitigation and rain brake support
· Seven air bags, including a driver knee air bag
In the interest of transparency: this Compass did not receive the optional driver assistance group. It therefore does not have adaptive cruise control, front park assist, a 360-degree camera or a wireless charging pad. It does have conventional cruise control.
All black with touches of red
The Diamond Black Crystal Pearl-Coat paint extends to the roof, for an all-black silhouette the Trailhawk accents with red: a black and red anti-glare hood decal, red tow hooks and, inside, Ruby Red stitching. Fascias with Neutral Grey accents, black roof rails, deep-tint glass, fog lamps and 17-inch Satin Black wheels complete the look.

Frequently asked questions
What sets the Compass Trailhawk apart from other versions?
The Trailhawk is the Trail Rated Compass. It adds the low range of the Jeep Active Drive Low system, Rock mode, a lifted suspension, skid plates, hill descent control, red tow hooks and all-terrain tires. Other 2024 Compass models use Jeep Active Drive, without a low range.
What warranty coverage is left, and does it transfer?
Put into service on July 30, 2024, this Compass is covered by the basic warranty until July 30, 2027 or 60,000 km, and by the powertrain warranty, 24-hour roadside assistance included, until July 30, 2029 or 100,000 km, whichever comes first. At the reading, 37,812 km remain on the first and 77,812 km on the second. Corrosion (perforation) coverage runs until July 30, 2029 and major emissions component coverage until July 30, 2032. All of them transfer at no charge to subsequent owners residing in Canada. The Quebec legal warranty also applies, category A: 6 months or 10,000 km. No extended warranty comes with this vehicle, but a Mopar protection plan can be discussed at purchase.
How does it handle winter in the Beauce?
It is well prepared: automatic 4x4 with Snow mode, 8.6 in. (219 mm) of ground clearance for poorly cleared driveways, remote start, heated front seats and steering wheel, and a wiper de-icer. The low range also helps you get out of a snowbank. Dedicated winter tires are still essential.
Can it tow a trailer?
This Compass was not ordered with the optional factory trailer tow group, which includes a Class III hitch receiver and a four-pin wiring harness. No towing capacity is therefore advertised for this unit, and the standard trailer sway control does not replace that equipment. If you plan to pull a small trailer, let's talk about it before you buy.
Is the 2.0L turbo powerful enough for this SUV?
With 200 horsepower and 221 lb-ft (300 N·m) of torque from 1,750 rpm, it delivers confident response in daily driving. It is not a performance SUV, but its low-rpm torque makes it comfortable on hills. For long-term durability, follow the maintenance intervals in the owner's manual.
Are there open recalls, and what happens at delivery?
Before delivery, the vehicle identification number is checked in the Stellantis system, and any applicable recall is performed at no charge by our certified shop, on top of our full pre-delivery inspection. If you wish, we can run that check with you before you commit.
Who is this Compass Trailhawk for?
For drivers who want a compact SUV that is easy to park and reasonable at the pump, without being limited to pavement: a cottage at the end of a dirt road, trails or a sugar bush. It is also a sound family choice, with its driver assistance features and flexible cargo area.
Why buy this Jeep from you rather than elsewhere?
Because its remaining factory warranties are handled directly in our certified Stellantis shop, with wiTECH and Mopar parts, and because our Sainte-Marie and Saint-Malachie locations put service less than thirty minutes from most municipalities in the Beauce.
