Dodge Durango R/T AWD Blacktop 6-pass | 5.7L HEMI | Sunroof | Vented leather | Hitch 7200lbs | No accidents |2025 Dodge Durango R/T Blacktop AWD, 5.7L HEMI V8, six-passenger seating, sunroof and ventilated leather
Three rows of seats, a HEMI V8 and a profile that turns heads: the Dodge Durango R/T is one of the few family SUVs that kept real muscle-car character. This one wears Octane Red Pearl-Coat paint and the Blacktop Package, with second-row captain's chairs, ventilated leather, a power sunroof, adaptive cruise control and complete towing equipment. Put into service on April 30, 2025, it shows 51,647 km and remains covered by the powertrain warranty until April 30, 2030 or 100,000 km, whichever comes first. Its Carfax vehicle history report shows no reported accidents. It is in stock at Daniel Paré, in the Beauce region.
5.7L HEMI V8, the heart of the R/T
In the 2025 Durango lineup, the R/T is the model that comes standard with the 5.7L HEMI V8. This variable valve timing engine produces 360 horsepower (268 kW) at 5,150 rpm and 390 lb-ft (529 N·m) of torque at 4,250 rpm, along with the deep sound the HEMI is known for. Under light cruise, on Route 73 for example, Fuel Saver Technology shuts down four cylinders, then brings all eight back as soon as you accelerate.
The TorqueFlite 8HP70 eight-speed automatic is controlled with the electronic T-shifter and its AutoStick gate, or with the paddles behind the steering wheel. Dodge Performance Pages on the centre screen show timers, g-forces, gauges and engine data, a nod to the SRT lineage.
All-wheel drive and road manners
The Durango is built on a longitudinal-engine, rear-wheel-drive-based architecture, completed by full-time all-wheel drive, and Dodge highlights its near-perfect front-to-rear weight balance. The independent short- and long-arm front suspension and the multi-link rear suspension, with coil springs, aim for a balance between comfort and precision.
Braking relies on 350 mm vented discs up front and 330 mm vented discs at the rear, backed by all-speed traction control, electronic stability control and hill start assist. With a 41-foot (12.5 m) turning diameter, it is easier to manoeuvre than its size suggests.
Towing, factory-equipped for 7,200 lb (3,266 kg)
According to Stellantis' 2025 Canadian specifications, the all-wheel-drive Durango with the 5.7L HEMI V8 and the towing package can pull up to 7,200 lb (3,266 kg). This Durango was ordered with all the equipment needed:
· Class IV hitch receiver and 4- and 7-pin wiring harness
· Integrated trailer brake controller
· Trailer sway control
· Blind-spot monitoring with trailer detection
The same specifications give it a payload of up to 1,350 lb (612 kg), to be shared between passengers, cargo and tongue weight. Boat, travel trailer or snowmobile trailer, we will check your combination with you before you buy.
Blacktop style in Octane Red
Octane Red Pearl-Coat gives the Durango real presence, and the Blacktop Package sharpens its features with 20 x 8-inch aluminium wheels in a Black Noise finish and a gloss black Dodge badge on the tail lamps. LED low and high beam headlamps with automatic high beam control, LED daytime running lamp signatures and the rear spoiler complete the look.
Up top, black roof rails with integrated crossbars are ready for a cargo box or bike rack, and the power sunroof brightens the cabin. The multi-function exterior mirrors power-fold and include integrated turn signals.
Six seats and three well-planned rows
This Durango has the six-passenger layout: two front bucket seats, two fold-and-tumble captain's chairs in the second row with armrests and a mini console with cupholders, then a two-passenger bench in the third row. According to the Canadian specifications, legroom reaches 40.3 in. (1,025 mm) up front, 38.6 in. (981 mm) in the second row and 33.5 in. (850 mm) in the third.
Cargo space measures 17.2 cu. ft. (487 L) behind the third row, 43.3 cu. ft. (1,226 L) behind the second row and up to 85.1 cu. ft. (2,410 L) with the rear rows folded, and the power liftgate makes loading easier when your arms are full.
Ventilated leather and four-season comfort
The leather-faced front bucket seats are heated and ventilated, a heated steering wheel is standard on every 2025 Durango, and the second-row captain's chairs are heated too. Other highlights include:
· Remote start and push-button start
· 8-way power driver's seat with memory, linked to the exterior mirrors and radio
· 4-way lumbar support for the driver and front passenger
· Leather-wrapped console armrest and door panels
· 115-volt power outlet and two additional charging ports
Technology and connectivity
The Uconnect 5 NAV system with a 10.1-inch touchscreen, angled 7 degrees toward the driver, includes built-in navigation. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto bring your phone's apps to the screen without a cable, hands-free calling keeps your hands on the wheel, and SiriusXM with 360L on-demand content (subscription required) rounds out the package. The wireless charging pad keeps your phone topped up on the go.
Safety and driver aids
This Durango R/T brings together the lineup's main driver aids:
· Adaptive cruise control with stop
· Full-speed Forward Collision Warning Plus with active braking
· Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross path detection and trailer detection
· ParkSense front and rear park assist and ParkView rear back-up camera
· Automatic high beam headlamp control and auto-dimming driver's side exterior mirror
· Seven air bags, including side curtain air bags covering all three rows and a driver's inflatable knee bolster
· Rain brake support, ready alert braking and rear seat reminder alert
In the interest of transparency, lane departure warning does not appear on its original window sticker.

Frequently asked questions
How does the 5.7L HEMI V8 feel day to day?
It is a proven, widespread engine: parts are easy to find and technicians know it well. Its 390 lb-ft (529 N·m) makes passing and merging onto the highway easy, even when loaded, while cylinder deactivation and the tall eighth gear cut fuel use at cruising speed. Simply follow the maintenance intervals with the recommended oil.
How much fuel does it use?
The official EnerGuide ratings on its original window sticker are 16.7 L/100 km city, 10.9 L/100 km highway and 14.1 L/100 km combined, with a 93.1 L fuel tank. Mid-grade 89 octane fuel is recommended, with regular 87 octane acceptable. Real-world consumption varies with driving style, load, trailer and cold weather.
Are six seats with captain's chairs practical for a family?
Very. Everyone gets their own space in the second row, and both captain's chairs fold and tumble to ease access to the third row, which seats two. If you truly need seven seats, a Durango with a second-row bench would be a better fit, and we can help you compare.
How does it handle winter in the Beauce?
Full-time all-wheel drive and all-speed traction control help you get going on an icy driveway or a snowy sugar bush road. Remote start, heated seats in the first two rows and the heated steering wheel make January mornings more pleasant, and the ventilated seats take over in July. Dedicated winter tires remain essential to get the most out of the system.
Has this Durango been driven a lot?
Yes, and we would rather say so plainly: 51,647 km in about 17 months, or roughly 36,500 km per year, is well above average. On the other hand, 48,353 km remain on the powertrain warranty, which ends at 100,000 km or on April 30, 2030, whichever comes first. Our pre-delivery inspection assesses its mechanical condition before handover.
How much warranty is left on this Durango?
Put into service on April 30, 2025, it is still covered by Stellantis factory warranties, with no deductible and transferable: basic warranty until April 30, 2028 or 60,000 km, with 8,353 km remaining at the reading, powertrain until April 30, 2030 or 100,000 km, corrosion until April 30, 2030 or 160,000 km and major emissions components until April 30, 2033 or 130,000 km, each whichever comes first. No extended warranty is attached. The Quebec legal warranty also applies: it falls into category A, meaning a 6-month or 10,000 km good working order warranty.
Are there open recalls, and what happens at delivery?
Before delivery, the vehicle identification number is checked in the Stellantis system, and any applicable recall is performed at no charge by our certified shop, on top of our full pre-delivery inspection. You can ask us to run that check with you before you commit.
Why buy this Durango from you rather than elsewhere?
Because a Durango still covered by its factory warranties is best looked after by a certified Stellantis shop that handles claims on site with wiTECH and Mopar parts, and because our Sainte-Marie and Saint-Malachie locations put service less than thirty minutes from most municipalities in the Beauce.
